New Year, Same Me... but I do have an announcement
While I am generally not a new year, new me person, January always has me re-focusing on running as I build the training schedule that will see me through to running a half marathon at the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon in May. Unfortunately for me, the schedule starts this Sunday which is supposed to be a balmy -6 with a possible 5cm of snow – yay! Now, onto that announcement... I am very happy to announce that I have been chosen to be a Cleveland Marathon Ambassador for 2018.

Niagara Women's Half Marathon
Two weeks later, after some well-deserved rest days, it was time for another race. This time the road led to Niagara Falls, Ontario for the Niagara Falls Women’s Half Marathon. This race was going to be extra special – not only was it Tina’s first half marathon but Leanne was running her 10th. We got off to a rainy start with our disposable ponchos, but the weather cooperated for the most part and we stayed relatively dry for the bulk of the run. The crowds were a bit thin

#RunCLE
After taking a decidedly relaxed approach to my 2016 race season, I decided to sign up for 2 half marathons this spring – 2 weeks apart. My bff (Leanne) and I decided we needed to go back to Cleveland for our annual half marathon girls weekend (this would be my 5th half marathon and 3rd half in Cleveland). And to top it off it was the 40th anniversary of the Cleveland Marathon #RunCLE, which for those who may not realize is for Run Cleveland, not rUncle like rAunt as someone
